Wednesday, the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, spoke at Heritage to celebrate and reflect on the 20 years of strategic partnership between the U.S. and Romania. President Iohannis discussed the advancement of U.S.- Romania national security cooperation as well as the future of the transatlantic relationship.
Romania has, for years, been the most stalwart U.S. ally in Southeast Europe. The desire of foreign dignitaries like President Iohannis to speak at Heritage illustrates the global impact and meaningful relationships Heritage actively cultivates with some of the U.S.’s most crucial allies.
Foreign leaders have respected and sought out Heritage’s resources, expertise, and platform for decades and Heritage will continue to work with foreign leaders to strengthen conservatism across the world.
