Many of our previous employees have gone on from our organization to lead successful careers in Washington.
A fantastic example of such a person is Dana White, who has been the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs for the past year. She served as the Director of the Washington Roundtable for the Asia-Pacific Press at The Heritage Foundation. Now, at the Department of Defense, her position allows her to advise the Armed Services and serve as chief spokesperson for General Mattis. She regularly briefs the press from the Pentagon on military activity. Last weekend, she was the one who announced the Syria strikes. You can read the Department of Defense’s report on her briefing here.
We’re all very proud of the work she does for our country, and for her commitment to bolstering a strong national defense.
Join me in congratulating Ms. White on her work in her role as Assistant to the secretary of Defense for Public Affairs.
